Cloud Security Engineers with German

Our client is expanding its security capabilities to support a growing number of strategic and operational security initiatives. With the increasing importance of Agentic AI, SaaS integrations and Security by Design, demand for security expertise has outgrown the current team’s capacity.

We are looking for experienced Cloud Security Engineers to support the existing security experts and accelerate the implementation of security requirements across four key areas: Agentic AI Security, Threat Modeling, Vulnerability Management and Security Consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of security controls for Agentic AI solutions and AI-driven integrations.
  
• Conduct threat modeling for cloud applications, SaaS integrations and new solution designs.
  
• Identify, prioritise and track vulnerabilities, and coordinate their remediation with technical teams.
  
• Advise project and engineering teams on Security by Design principles and secure architecture.
  
• Review cloud and SaaS configurations and recommend practical security improvements.
  
• Translate security requirements into clear, actionable guidance for stakeholders.
  
• Document findings, risks and recommendations, and support their implementation.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security or information security.
  
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP).
  
• Practical experience in threat modeling (e.g. STRIDE or similar methodologies).
  
• Solid experience in vulnerability management and remediation processes.
  
• Understanding of SaaS integration security, identity and access management.
  
• Experience advising technical and business stakeholders on security topics.
  
• Fluent German minimum B2 and good English.
  

Nice-to-have

• Experience securing AI/LLM-based applications or agentic AI systems (e.g. prompt injection, data leakage, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs).
  
• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Wiz, Tenable or Qualys.
  
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty or similar.
  
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).
