Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Position description

• We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build, extend and maintain applications within a large-scale digital platform used internationally.
  
• You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate user needs into reliable technical solutions, while advocating for clean, secure and maintainable code.
  
• As a senior team member, you will also help address engineering challenges driven by business growth and evolving customer requirements.
  

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend and frontend services
  
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  
• Implement clean, secure and testable code
  
• Design and develop RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture
  
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards
  
• Write unit tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
  
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical improvements
  
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance
  

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of commercial software engineering experience
  
• Backend development experience in Java or Node.js (TypeScript)
  
• Frontend experience with Angular
  
• Experience with Docker
  
• Experience with AWS and serverless architectures
  
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices design
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and code review processes
  
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
  
• Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. DynamoDB)
  
• Comfortable working in agile/iterative environments
